Our showroom extension is now complete
We have just completed an extension to our existing showroom. Which has allowed us to increase the range of machines on display.
Already an established SCM main dealer, we now have specific dedicated areas for panelsaws, edgebanders, through feed sanders, spindle moulders, drills and planers stocking the SCM Class, Formula & Nova ranges as well as Minimax machines.
We have brought into stock Houfek sanding machines which come in various forms including horizontal and vertical belt machines, oscillating bobbin sanders and through feed sanders.
Adding the Harwi classical range of equipment to our existing stock we have filled gaps in the types of machines we offer, with Harwi heavy duty crosscut saws, ripsaws and trenching machines being displayed. The main advantage of the Harwi heavy duty 450w crosscut saw is its huge depth of cut at 205mm and angle facility. The head has powered tilting and a rotating turntable with LED readouts, making it accurate and incredibly easy to use.
We identified a gap in the market for a heavy-duty trenching machine and in collaboration with Harwi this has now been produced: it’s a universal trenching machine with extra wide guarding; giving it the ability to trench up to 30mm wide in one pass without compromising on safety. Additionally it can be easily switched from a crosscut saw to trencher without having to alter its guarding.
Harwi have spent many years researching and developing their products to an extremely high standard hence their motto, Built to last! We will be showing a selection of the Harwi machines on their stand D710 at the upcoming NEC exhibition W18.
Omec is another of our main agencies and these machines will also be demonstrated at the show. The Omec dovetailing machines provide an easy way to manufacture dovetail joints, offering true versatility as they are able to produce a variety of different dovetail joints with different pitches all at the touch of a button.
Omec dovetailers enable manufacturers to choose a dovetail machine which best suits their production level from the 650m manual machine to the CNC controlled machines which give flexibility over the rate of production whilst maintaining a quality finish when using different timbers. There are 3 CNC models available the 650A which is suitable for the smaller manufacturer and the 750CN both have a CNC system designed to allow the user to vary the pitch, number & depth of joints, feed speed and tool variations. To the F11TS a CNC controlled machine which meets the needs of heavy production situations allowing the manufacture of different pitches, variable feed rates and alteration to the joint, at the touch of a button.
In addition to the dovetail machines we also offer Omecs unique F9TS combined milling and mitre machines for door casings, corner locking machines
and pendulum crosscuts.
On our W18 stand at the NEC we will be running Kreg pocket hole drilling machines which provide an easy way to drill either an individual or a series of stepped holes. Enabling users to create a secure screwed butt joint which can be hidden or covered with a cap. John Jenkinson our managing director says “The Kreg drills are one of those products which customers are not aware of and half the battle is letting them see what they are capable of doing, W18 gives us the opportunity to do that”.
Another of our Italian agencies will also be displayed at W18; Futura machines are the next generation of 4 sided Planer/Moulders being 100% Italian manufactured offering high quality, specification and reliability at an excellent price. Even the smaller standard machines come with an unprecedented specification including; powered rise & fall, individual motors, poly vee belt drive, bed lubrication, long infeed tables & tersa cutter blocks. This makes the machines an excellent choice for small to medium sized companies.
Completing the line up on our W18 exhibition stand will be an Omga heavy duty mitre saw and quality Putsch wallsaw along with a selection of refurbished Wadkin machines.
However for those customers not visiting the show all the machines can be seen in our new extended showroom along with a huge selection of used machines.
